Song Shi Ba Tu Nan Gui Song Shan: Er Shou

Send Off Pei the Eighteenth, He Intends to Go South and Return to Mt. Song: Two Poems: No. 1

Where can we make our departure?
Chang’an southwest gate.
Non-Han female singers beckon with white hands
Prolong our visitors, get drunk from the golden wine vessel.

About the time for you to mount up on your horse
I alone give you a letter.
Wind blows and snaps fragrant orchids
At sunset birds and sparrows noisy.

Hands and fingers cannot hold to count
Sooner or later we will go together.
Mt. Song river water bright and clear from its source.

Notes:

Mt. Song:  Located in Henan Province and famous for being the central mountain of the Five Great Mountains of China. Home to many Daoist and Buddhist temple and shrines
