不 遇 咏
北 阙 献 书 寝 不 报
南 山 种 田 时 不 登。
百 人 会 中 身 不 预
五 侯 门 前 心 不 能。
身 投 河 朔 饮 君 酒
家 在 茂 陵 平 安 否？
且 共 登 山 复 临 水
莫 问 春 风 动 扬 柳。
今 人 作 人 多 自 私
我 心 不 说 君 应 知。
济 人 然 后 拂 衣 去
肯 作 徒 尔 一 男 儿！

Bei que xian shu qin bu bao
Nan shan zhong tian shi bu deng.
Bai ren hui zhong shen bu yu
Wu hou men qian xin bu neng.
Shen tou he shuo yin jun jiu
Jia zai mao ling ping an fou ?
Qie gong deng shan fu lin shui
Mo wen chun feng dong yang liu.
Jin ren zuo ren duo zi si
Wo xin bu yue jun ying zhi.
Ji ren ran hou fu yi qi
Ken zuo tu er yi nan er !
Undeserved Exile Lament

Go home to southern mountains to cultivate fields, not good with agrarian luck or skills.
Not informed in advance of a big imperial meeting
Not able to call upon the doors of the lower level aristocracy.
I will have to go and drink your wine at the River Shu
Is your house at Mao Hill still safe and sound?
All together again, climb the mountain overlooking the river
Do not ask the spring wind to stir the poplars and willows.
Today and yesterday’s people only think of themselves
You know that my heart-mind is not happy.
You try to help people, then afterwards they brush you away
We agree that of many, just one real and honest man.
