双 明 再 见 帝 城 春。
莺 花 世 界 输 公 等
泉 石 膏 肓 叹 病 身。
近 代 风 骚 四 诗 匠

Thank Him For His Poetry Collection, Then Send Off Zhang Gongfu
For ten years no sweet dreams, only a world of red dust
Unhappy, blamed myself for a lack of leisure.
For two evenings read your poetry collection “Yao Zhai Ji”
These tired pair of eyes could see again the imperial city walls.
Orioles and flowers of springtime a beauty same as your poems
Too bad I suffer from illnesses, making me a rock near an artesian springhead.
Living in a time close to the four poetry masters
But your exquisite work touches me beyond these four!
Notes:
“Yao Zhai Ji“: A loose translation would be: “Come to a Vegetarian Party With Me”. Vegetarian referring to a Buddhist value.

Fang Chengdu (1126-1193) His biographical information and translated works will be available on the website starting around January 2025.
Xia Dezao: A minor poet with only about twelve works in existence.
You Qiu: (1127-1194)
