石 桥 两 畔 好 人 烟

杨 柳 阴 中 新 酒 店
葡 萄 架 底 小 渔 船。
红 红 白 白 花 临 水

Pi si zhu cun bie yi chuan.
Yang liu yin zhong xin jiu dian
Pu tao jia di xiao yu chuan.
Hong hong bai bai hua lin shui

Zheng er qing he huan zai dao
Wei shei xin ku bu gui tian?

Two riverbanks and a stone bridge in the mists makes for good feelings
Compared to the other many villages, this river scene unsurpassed.
Inside the shadows of poplar and willow trees one shops for fresh wine
Under an arbor of grapes rests small fishing boats.
Very red and white flowers appear along the waterside.
Very bluish-green and yellow, the wheat grows to the sky’s horizon.
Pure and gentle season, so nice to be on my way to another assignment
For whom do I suffer and labor instead of returning to these fields?
