蒲 桥 寓 居 庭 有 夸 方 石 而 实 以 土 者， 小 孙 子 艺 花 窠 菜 本 其 中， 戏 名 幼 圃
寓 舍 中 庭 尐 半 弓
燕 泥 为 圃 石 为 墉。
瑞 香 萱 草 一 两 本
葱 叶 蔊 苗 三 四 丛。
稚 子 落 成 小 金 谷
蜗 牛 卜 筑 别 珠 宫。
也 思 日 涉 随 儿 戏

Live in an abandoned small middle courtyard of a few feet in area
Like I am in the swallow’s mud upon the stone high walls of a garden.
One or two stems of the auspicious and fragrant yellow day lilies
Onion leaves and marsh cress sprouts three or four to a cluster.
Grandchildren believe this area is my small golden palace
Snails here are like oxen, plants are growing in a pearled palace.
Notes:
Yellow day lilies: Supposed by the ancients to be capable of relieving one of sorrow or anxiety.
Marsh cress: Scientific name is “Roripa Montana”.
