Du Li Du Shi

Zhuo jin cang lang ke
Qing lian dan dang ren.
Cai ming sai tian di
Shen shi lao feng chen.

Shi gu nan tui huan
Ren shei bu jian pin?
Ming chuang shu bian zai
Chang yu wu hua xin.

Dark-blue river waves for this visitor
The green lotus people float back and forth in life.
Both of these men famous and talented on the border stronghold between heaven and earth
Late in life, their place in society full of wind and dust.

Resolute scholars find it difficult to find a good and helpful network
Who cannot help but find these men to be lowly and poor?
Under brightened windows organizing my collection of their books
For a long time they remain radiant and fresh.
