Lu Yu: Eleventh Lunar Month, Fourth Day of Strong Wind and Rain

Eleventh Lunar, Month Fourth Day of Strong Wind and Rain

十 一 月 四 日 风 雨 大 作
僵 卧 孤 村 不 自 哀
尚 思 为 国 戍 轮 台。
夜 阑 卧 听 风 吹 雨
铁 马 冰 河 入 梦 来!
Shi Yi Yue Si Ri Feng Yu Da Zuo

Jiang wo gu cun bu zi ai
Shang si wei guo shu lun tai.
Ye lan wo ting feng chui yu
Tie ma bing he ru meng lai!

Eleventh Lunar Month, Fourth Day of Strong Wind and Rain

Yuan An died alone at home, my sorrows in this small village
Think if we still valued our country, we would defend far away Lun Tai.
Lie down, late evening hear the blowing wind and rain
Dreams arrive, I ride my armored horse into the icy rivers.

Notes:
