池 上： 二 绝

山 僧 对 棋 坐
局 上 竹 阴 清。
映 竹 无 人 见
时 闻 下 子 声。

Shan ceng dui qi zuo
Ju shang zhu yin qing.
Ying zhu wu ren jian
Shi wen xia zi sheng.

Mountain Buddhist monks opposite each other playing chess
A gathering under clear bamboo shadows.
Bamboo reflections without any people around
Season to only hear the water clock sounds.
