早 入 荥 阳 界
汎 舟 入 荥 泽
兹 邑 迺 雄 藩。
河 曲 闾 阎 隘
川 中 烟 火 繁。
因 人 见 风 俗
入 境 闻 方 言。
秋 晚 田 畴 盛
朝 光 市 井 喧。
渔 商 波 上 客
鸡 犬 岸 旁 村。
前 路 白 云 外
孤 帆 安 可 论！

Zi yi nai xiong fan.
He qu lu yan ai
Chuan zhong yan huo fan.
Yin ren jian feng su
Ru jing wen fang yan.
Qiu wan tian chou sheng
Zhao guang shi jing xuan.
Yu shang bo shang ke
Ji quan an pang cun.
Qian lu bai yun wai
Gu fan an ke lun !

River songs heard through narrow neighborhood gates
Smoke to mid-river from numerous fires.
Because people are exposed to social customs
One hears the local dialect when entering a new region.
Prosperous, fertile lands in the autumn evening
Dawn rays of sunlight in the noisy marketplace.
A fishing merchant waves to a distinguished guest
Village chickens and hunting ducks alongside the riverbank.
White clouds beyond the road front
With peace, and in the solitary boat, one can assess and theorize.
