登 楚 州 城
望 中 白 处 日 争 明
个 是 淮 河 冻 作 冰。
此 去 中 原 三 里 许
一 条 玉 带 界 天横。

Wang zhong bai chu ri zheng ming
Ge shi huai he dong zuo bing.
Ci qu zhong yuan san li xu
Yi tiao yu dai jie tian heng.
Climb Chuzhou City Walls
Gaze into the distance, all is clear and bright under the sun
Huai River totally frozen over with ice.
At this place the river is over a mile wide from the Southern Song side
Across the horizon the border sky and river like one jade-white belt.
