登 临 不 觉 风 烟 暮
肠 断 渔 灯 隔 岸 明！
Ti Xu Chi Jun Nan Di Yi Shan
Di yi shan tou di yi ting
Wen ming wei dao fu ping sheng.
Bu yin wang shi lue xiao chu
Na de gao ren tong ci xing.
Wan li zhong yuan qing wei liao
Ban gao huai shui bi wu qing.
Deng lin bu jue feng yan mu
Chang duan yu deng ge an ming!

First pavilion atop the highest mountain
Heard about this place, but had yet to come here for a visit.
Without my government position, never could have made this brief visit
On this journey got to meet some high-level people.
From the mountain peak can see for thousands of miles
Half of the Huai River ours, half is theirs, yet the water flows anyway.
From here mists and winds are everywhere, cannot see our future
Heart breaking to watch the lanterns of the fishermen brighten the river water.
