Ri guang zi yao shui

Zhi wo ru jiang dong.

Outside thousands of peaks joined together
One footpath open in a mountain pass.
Sunlight naturally moves with the waves and water
Sky silent and calm without a trace of wind.
Spring green colors match the local village wine
Forest of flowers red and worn-out by noon.
No one can deceive those atop the earthen watchtowers along the way
Counting them, I know I am close to home.
