Under a Lantern Read Aloud a Shan Gu Poem
Deng Xia Du Shan Gu Shi
“Tian Xia Wu Shuang” shuang bing huang
Yi bian you zuo jiu xing.
Bai nian ren wu jin an zai?
Qian zai gong ming zhi ban zhuang.
Shi wo shi bian ru xu hao
Guan ren sheng shi yi he chang?
Di lu huo nuan deng hua xi.
Qie zhi yi jia zhu cui xiang.
Under a Lantern Read Aloud a Shan Gu Poem
Shan Gu’s poem “Below Heaven Without a Copy” has no equal
Your poems written like those of old, as beautiful apricot blossoms.
After one hundred years, are the people and their creations gone in peace?
After one thousand years, only the famous and their written poems are remembered.
This is why I spent the time to collect my best poems
Can I only care about how people in the future experience my poems?
Under a warm lantern and next to an earthen stove fires are like flowers
For now, only lucky enough to have a hometown family house.
