晚 步 湖 上
云 薄 漏 春 晖
湖 空 弄 夕 霏。
沾 泥 花 半 落
掠 水 燕 交 飞。
小 倦 聊 扶 策
新 晴 旋 减 衣。
幽 寻 殊 未 已
画 争 唤 人 归。

Evening Lakeside Walk
Spring sunshine through thin and wispy clouds
Empty lake of twilight and a light rain.
Half of the damp and broken flowers have fallen down
In-flight swallows come and go, back-and-forth, skimming over the water.
Presently change directions of my small, worn-out cane
Recently cleared up sky, quick to remove some clothing.
In my solitude, I do not have much enthusiasm to go back anytime soon
But like the fine details in an ancient painting, these patterns of nature summon me to return.
