壮 岁 从 戎
曾 是 气 吞 残 虏。
阵 云 高，狼 烟 夜 举。
朱 颜 青 鬓
拥 雕 戈 西 戎。
笑 儒 冠 自 来 多 误！
功 名 梦 断
却 泛 扁 舟 吴 楚。
漫 悲 歌， 伤 怀 吊 古。
烟 波 无 际
望 秦 关 何 处？
叹 流 年 又 成 虚 度！

Man bei ge, shang huai diao gu.
Yan bo wu ji
Wang qin guan he chu?
Tan liu nian you cheng xu du!
Thankful For Springtime Ponds
Youthful years I followed our military
At one time, I could imprison the enemy’s stragglers.
Battle formation of dusty clouds, they arose from the enemy’s evening encampments.
Then my face was red, and hair was all black
Carried engraved dagger axes to the west.
Confucian scholars naturally arrive with many errors!
My dreams of success ended up shattered
Now I float on flat-bottomed boats back-and-forth between Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.
Song of overflowing sorrows
Visit places of ancient wounds and disappointments.
Misty waves of awareness without boundaries
Gaze into the distance, who still dwells around the Qin gate towers?
Ah, the flowing of years and wasted time!
