Xuzhou: Ancient name for the modern city of Zhenjiang.
Battle of Red Cliffs: Very large naval battle fought on the Changjiang (Yanzi River) at the end of the Han Dynasty in (208-209 AD).
Yang Hu (211-278 AD): Military general, government official and scholar during the Jin Dynasty. After his death, the people of his hometown Xiangyang built a monument in his honor. Because he was so beloved by the people, it became known as the “Monument of Tears”.
