父 老 争 看 乌 角 巾
应 缘 曾 现 宰 官 身。
溪 边 古 路 三 叉 口
独 立 斜 阳 数 过 人。

Ying yuan ceng xian zai guan shen.
Xi bian gu lu san cha kou
Du li xie yang shu guo ren.

Adults compete to see my pathetic, small hair tie
They find it so hard to believe I am a government official.
Their busiest intersection is three ancient paths near a small stream
At sunset, by themselves they go back home.
