Imperial Eastern Patrol Song: Eleven Poems: No. 2

Three rivers near Luoyang, northern enemy chaos like hemp crops
Western hordes quickly go south, like Yongjia in the early Jin Dynasty
General Xie An used the rocks to his advantage in the eastern mountains
Will smile as we make calm the nomad’s desert.

Notes:

Yongjia: Former name of the city of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.

General Xie An: Perhaps referring to Xie Xuan  (343-388). He was an army general during the Jin Dynasty. He was also the Duke of Kangle.
