风 景 每 生 愁。
客 散 青 天 月
山 空 碧 水 流。
池 花 春 映 日
窗 竹 夜 鸣 秋。
今 古 一 相 接
长 歌 怀 旧 游。

Farewell from the Xie Pavilion
Beautiful scenery every time makes for a melancholy life.
Visitors scatter, blue skies and moon
Empty mountains, bluish-green river flows.
Pond blossoms reflect the springtime sun
Autumn evening, bamboo sounds through the windows.
Today want to join this old man
Long song to think of, and acknowledge my time with you.

Xiegong Pavilion: Located within the city of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. The poet Xie Lingyun often frequented this area of river islets to write poetry.
