八 月 十 二 日 得 替 后 移 居 霅 溪 馆 因 题 长 句 四 韵
万 家 相 庆 喜 秋 成
处 处 楼 台 歌 板 声。
千 岁 鹤 归 犹 有 恨
一 年 人 住 岂 无 情。
夜 凉 溪 馆 留 僧 话
风 定 苏 潭 看 月 生。
景 物 登 临 闲 始 见
愿 为 闲 客 此 闲 行。

All of the households celebrate joyful autumn harvests
Everywhere the rhythmic melodies from tall buildings.
Thousand-year crane returns still having regrets
Still living here after one year with emotional attachments.
Cool evening, talk with the remaining Xiguan monks
Calm wind, moon emerges with a story of Su Tan.
Climb up for scenery views, wait relaxed for a glimpse of this pond
I am ready to retire and become a hermit visitor here.
Notes:
Zha Xiguan: Tiny village in the outskirts of Huzhou, Zhejiang Province.
Su Tan: Story about a man who lived during the early Tang Dynasty. One day he fell into a deep pond. After being rescued he became an imperial prime minister close to the emperor.
