Discuss business with a man selling Mongolian wares in Yangzhou
Recall and share former days at the nearby Xiling post station with him.
Ask him what part of the Yangzhou area he will go to, one where it is expensive or cheap
This old man would be happy to travel east with him.

Can I try to live and have a temperament that will have a favorable influence on what is worth saving?
Make new poems, edit the old ones, and then naturally chant to myself.
Who knows the two Xies have accomplished skills
Maybe they can help this sufferer to find a way into the light.

Yangzhou: Located in Jiangsu Province, and noted for straddling the Grand Canal, a center for the salt trade, and it’s gardens.
The two Xies: Two nearby males acquaintances.
