叶 小: 望
江 南 柳, 叶 小 未 成 阴。
人 为 丝 轻 那 忍 折
莺 嫌 枝 嫩 不 胜 吟。
留 着 待 春 深。
十 四 五, 闲 抱 琵 琶 寻。
阶 上 簸 钱 阶 下 走
恁 时 相 见 早 留 心。
何 况 到 如 今。
Ye Xiao: (Wang)

Jiang nan liu, ye xiao wei cheng yin.
Ren wei si qing na ren she
Ying xian zhi nen bu sheng yin.
Liu zhao dai chun shen.

Shi si wu, xian bao pi pa xun.
Jie shang bo qian jie xia zou
Nen shi xiang jian zao liu xin.
He kuang dao ru jin.

 

Leaves So Small: (Gaze Into the Distance)

Jiangnan willow trees, leaves so small, yet can produce shadows
People admire their light and unbroken silk streamers.
Orioles dislike these branches, too delicate to perch and sing their songs
Everything must await for a later spring.

Aged fourteen or fifteen, she leisurely holds her pipa
But upstairs she plays coin games, and downstairs she runs around.
This time to see each other, one needs to be careful
